How to label Suitcases / Luggages and Instrument Cases

Be sure to put a SECOND copy of the label inside the suitcase/luggage or instrument case in case the label comes off during handling, automated sortation, and transit.

See below examples of how to label and how not to label.

Example 1:
Label placed inside a label holder provided by us and attached to the item's handle using at least two cable ties provided by us.

PERFECT!

Suitcase Labeled Wrong

This label is very unlikely to come off during handling, automated sortation, and transit.

Example 2:
ONLY if you don't have time for delivery of label holders and cable ties, attach your label by wrapping transparent tape around the item repeatedly.

GOOD ENOUGH...

Suitcase Labeled Wrong

If you do a good job, this label is unlikely to come off during handling, automated sortation.

Example 3:
Label taped directly to surface of item.
This is a REALLY bad idea and will probably lead to your item being lost in transit.

WRONG!
